Commission Art
Each commission begins with a conversation — your vision, the subject, the size, and any details that matter to you. From there I'll send a quote, and once a deposit is made we'll arrange reference photos and I'll begin work.
Whenever possible I prefer to take reference photos myself. It lets me control the light, angle, and mood that will carry into the painting. If that isn't feasible, I'll guide you through getting the best shots on your end.
Commissioned paintings are offered in a limited capacity and I only take about five per year.
Payment
A 50% non-refundable deposit and signed agreement are required before work begins. Final payment is due upon completion, prior to delivery. Shipping, framing, and tax are billed separately.
Payment accepted via Venmo, Apple Pay, PayPal, check, or credit card (in person only).

Note that smaller sizes aren't suited to every subject — a 6×6 won't accommodate more than one face in a portrait. Larger paintings allow for the detail and presence the work deserves.
